What do you think is the best coffee out there?

that you can purchase and brew at home? I’m a "beginner" :)
btw…I do have a coffee grinder, so a recommendation for coffee beans is good too.

Thanks!

I’m a fan of Peet’s brand. They have several types and roasts, but a good one for beginner’s is called Major Dickason’s. You can buy Peet’s Major Dickason’s at supermarkets around the country

why did my coffee beans after a day taste badder than usual?

ok well i got a new cafe series coffee grinder and got some 5 senses(one of the best coffee brands) coffee beans while i was at it, when i tried the coffee on the day of getting it, it tasted perfect(COMPLETELY SMOTHE), then the next day it tasted like an average already ground 5 senses coffee. why does it taste like that?

is it because it’s no longer fresh?

Coffee beans and grounds are susceptible to changes because of air and humidity factors. The best way to retain the high quality of your coffee beans and grounds is to store them in air-tight containers and even refrigerate those containers. Grinding good quality coffee is an art, and if by chance you grind more than you need, you lose the freshness of the first grind. So to avoid poor quality coffee, grind only the amount you need and store your beans properly in air tight containers.

Tips on getting the best coffee grinds when grinding coffee?

I just bought a Mr.Coffee Coffee grinder, blade grinder not burr. I’m new to this grinding coffee at home thing so I don’t know whether I’m getting the best grind, but what I do know is that the end product is in need of improvement. Any useful tips on getting the perfect grind.

Well, you’ll never get the perfect "grind" from a blade (it pulverizes, not grinds) as they can’t make the coffee even. That means some will be over extracted (bitter) and some under extracted (weak).

If you’re using a blade, just do it in short bursts to prevent burning the bean via friction.
